Your flight has a group chat.
Plane Chatter opens a temporary, anonymous chat room for everyone on your flight. Swap tips about the delay, the connection, or the turbulence — then the room closes after you land.
How it works
Scan your boarding pass
Use your camera, or a screenshot of your mobile pass. It’s read on your phone, and your name and booking code never leave it.
Join your flight’s room
Everyone on your flight lands in one room, opening an hour before departure. You get a random nickname.
Chat until you land
The room closes an hour after arrival, and messages are deleted 24 hours later.
Made for the people sitting around you
Verified passengers
Rooms are for people with a real boarding pass on your flight, so you’re not talking to the internet at large.
Anonymous by default
Other passengers see only a nickname that changes with every flight — never your name, email, or seat.
Temporary by design
No profiles and no followers. Each room exists for one flight and then it’s gone.
Safety built in
Report and block tools, automatic checks for threatening language, and a team that takes safety seriously.
A note on safety
Everyone in a room is physically nearby, so we hold the chat to a high standard. Threats — even jokes — about harming an aircraft are never allowed, and we report them to the airline and law enforcement.
Plane Chatter is for adults 18 and older, and isn’t affiliated with any airline.
